Redesign and Refresh

The Student life section of Arizona.edu is the University’s opportunity to showcase the vast array of student amenities and diverse opportunities available to students when they join the University community. In early 2022 the department needed to refresh this section to accurately depict out campus, connect and drive traffic between our main site and the Admissions website and support students through the application process.

Utilized asynchronous user testing to generate real time user interactions and feedback of the pages in question. Synthesized the feedback to provide insights for next revisions to copy, imagery and interactions.
I met with content managers and developers to discuss information hierarchy, interactions and capabilities. We made considerations based on university wide website patterns and also determined new functionality that could benefit our current and future needs, optimizing our development efforts for university wide future implementations.
These page were launched successfully and user interaction and application traffic has increased year over year.
